Bike Rental Form

Trek Clermont offers road bike and triathlon bike rentals for Clermont, South Lake, and the greater Orlando area. We offer high-end road bike and triathlon bike rentals from Trek Bicycles. Our fleet of bikes includes platform pedals, computer, water bottle cages, a flat repair pack, and a helmet. We also have a limited amount of SPD, Shimano SPD SL, and Look pedals. We are not able to make any component changes to the bikes. Rentals are available hourly, daily, weekly, and long-term rentals. Please contact us for group rates. Special Event rates are slightly higher. Rentals can be picked up and dropped off at Trek Clermont during normal operating hours (M-F 10-7, Sat 10-6).

Please be sure to fill out the form in its entirety and hit submit. Completion of the form requires that you read and understand the release of liability and the terms and conditions of the rental. Your reservation will be confirmed via email within 72 hours. We can be reached at mail@trekclermont.com with any questions you may have. Please note that quantities are limited and are on a first-come-first-serve basis. A form must be submitted for each rental as this is the request and release of liability for each rider.

Required Information

Please complete a form for EACH bicycle rental. Form will only allow the selection of 1 bicycle per renter.

Please indicate the date (month-day-year) and time that you would like to pick the bicycle up.
Please indicate the date and time that you will be returning the bike to Trek Clermont
Please indicate either Half-Day, Full Day, or Weekly Rental. Half- Day is any rental that is returned on the same day that it is picked up. Full Day is any rental that is returned by close of business the day following pickup. Weekly is a 7 Day Rental
**Bicycles being utilized for special events are subject to a $35/day of event surcharge as indicated in the rental information. Any persons using the bike for other than the intended purpose of the rental will be assessed the higher rental fee.**

Terms And Conditions

Valid driver's license, credit card and signed waiver required with all rentals. Renter must be present at pick-up and return of rental bike. Rental will be paid at time of pickup with deposit being refunded at time of return of rental item. Have fun, but please don't abuse our rentals because you are accountable for any damage to the equipment! On rare occasions, we may not be able to meet your reservation needs. We'll do our best to notify you in advance or accommodate you with substitutions. Renter is responsible for any damage that may occur to the bicycle during the period of the rental agreement. Helmets are required equipment while riding a bicycle rented from Trek Clermont. There is a 72-hour cancellation policy in effect for our bicycle rentals. Rentals cancelled with less than 72 hours notice will be charged 1 day rental rate.

By checking the "yes" box above you acknowledge and agree to the terms of this rental agreement. I accept for use as is the equipment listed on this form and accept full responsibility for the care of the equipment while in my possession. I authorize Trek Clermont to place a $1000 applicable credit hold on my credit card account until the rental equipment is returned. I will be responsible for the replacement, at full retail value, and equipment rented on this form not returned to Trek Clermont. I also agree to replace, for full retail value, any equipment damaged while in my possession. I agree to return all rental equipment, by the agreed time, to the agreed location, to avoid additional late fee charges of one day's rental amount for every day late. I understand that helmets are required and I agree to wear one at all times while using the rental equipment. Given that I may be sharing the road with automobile traffic, I understand that I must obey all applicable traffic laws. I understand that cycling is a physically demanding activity and I affirm to my knowledge that I have no physical condition which may be aggravated by cycling. I will not operate this bicycle while under the influence of alcohol or any mind-altering drugs. I agree not to make any mechanical changes to the bicycle rented. Minor adjustments are permitted. I understand that I will be responsible for full payment of the bicycle rental regardless of whether I ride/use the equipment rented. Equipment used for other than its intended use may result in damage fees that will be applied at the time of return. Due to the nature of Triathlons and the additional wear and tear that the bike rental may be subject to a premium rental fee. Above conditions apply and are in effect during the duration of the rental. I am aware that cycling activities involve many risks, dangers and hazards including, but not limited to: changing weather conditions; mechanical failure of the equipment; loss of balance; difficulty or inability to control one’s speed and direction; variation or steepness in terrain; rapid or uncontrolled acceleration on hills and inclines; variation or changes in the cycling surface including holes or depressions in the roads; exposed rock, earth, and other natural objects; streams, creeks, and rivers; cliffs and crevasses; collision with exposed rock, snow, ice, earth, trees or other natural or man- made objects on or adjacent to the cycling terrain; encounters with wildlife, collision with pedestrians, vehicles or other cyclists; becoming lost or separated from the guides or instructors or other participants; failure to cycle safely or within one's own ability or within designated areas; negligence of other participants; and NEGLIGENCE ON THE PART OF Trek Clermont OR THEIR STAFF INCLUDING THE FAILURE ON THE PART OF Trek Clermont OR THEIR STAFF TO SAFEGUARD OR PROTECT ME FROM THE RISKS, DANGERS AND HAZARDS OF ADVENTURE ACTIVITIES. I am also aware that the risks, dangers, and hazards referred to above exist throughout the area used for cycling and that many are unmarked. I will not attempt repairs or removal of bike parts held by screws or nuts. Saddles and pedals are exempt. Repairs needed are to be done by Trek Clermont only.
Rental Confirmations are based solely on bicycle availability. Sizing availability is on a first-come-first-serve basis. We will contact you within 4 business days in regard to the availability of the requested size. Confirmations are made via email only.
